Fee Policies and Payment

The choir prides itself on maintaining the highest standard of music education at the lowest possible cost. The low fee structure relies on each choir family supporting fundraising efforts, selling tickets for choir performances and volunteering their time and talents to support choral activities. 

Fees are payable during the first week of each term. Invoices are forwarded to each chorister. Receipts issued for all monies received.

Payment may be by direct deposit, cheque/money order or cash in a sealed, clearly marked envelope. (No responsibility for cash taken until a receipt issued). All cheques are to be made out to Berwick Youth Choir. Payments at rehearsal can be paid to the treasurer, or placed in the fees box.

Family discount for term fees will apply where three or more choristers enrolled from the one family at one time.  The third and subsequent child(ren) will  have their term fees reduced by 25%. A 10% discount is offered for annual fees paid by the end of February, and a 5% discount is offered for semester fees paid by the end of February for 1st Semester, and by the 14th August for the 2nd Semester.

Choristers who join midway through a term will be charged on a pro rata basis, according to specified dates.

Fees must be paid in person at the first rehearsal of each term or by mail or on-line within one week. We do not have credit card facilities.

The Choir has a fee collection policy, which is available to parents. Please speak to the Treasurer if you would like to see this policy.

Berwick Youth Choir is able to accept tax deductible donations of $2.00 or more.

GST

Berwick Youth Choir is not registered to receive or pay GST.  For this reason, no GST component is payable on choir fees, concert tickets or fundraising items.
